3rd Blog Post

Hello Again,

Since it has been about a month after I first decided to do this project, I have made tremendous progress! Now that I have my website almost complete, I started creating chat rooms within the website. These chat rooms will be crucial for my website, since it will allow people from all over the globe to comment on them. Originally, I was unsure about having these chat rooms within the website, but I came to conclusion that it was best for my project. This will greatly expand my website, as well as my project. As I continue working on these chat rooms, I hope that my website will slowly expand. Although confident that this will be successful, I know I will have to make my website/chat room popular to achieve my goal, which is to make it go global. Once I completely finish my website and chat rooms, I think that I will have a good foundation to expand and get lots of users from all over the United States. I am taking this 20 Time Project step by step, which is working quite well so far.

2nd 20 Time Blog Post

Hello again,

I have started working on the computer for my 20 Time Project by creating an account on This website,, has helped me start my own website that connects Greeks across the globe. I have been trying to figure out how to have a chat section on the website, so people can comment. This project is a work in progress, but I have found a solid mentor. My mentor is Lena Hatzichronoglou. Being born in Greece, and a lady who has helped me with my Greek, she can offer new ideas, and help me with the writing aspect of Greek on the webpage. Now that I have my website started,  I can begin working in great detail on the webpage.  My first priority is to start writing an introduction to the website in English and Greek. I am taking this project step by step to achieve the ultimate goal.

1st 20 Time Blog Post

For my 20 Time Project, I have decided to create a website that connects Greeks across America, as well as Greece. Being Greek, I would love to see Greeks in America communicate more often with the Greeks in Greece. If that succeeds, my plans are to expand  on the website and make it multi-cultural. Adding different cultures to my 20 Time Project will make the website more popular and interesting. It will become more interesting because people from different backgrounds will get a chance to comment, and express their views and culture. After traveling a lot over the summer to countries like Greece, Turkey, and Italy, I thought it would be fascinating to have people with different backgrounds in America corresponding to different people across the globe. Since America is a very diverse country, I feel that this would help my project be successful.
